These pages are published by LearnFormula, an Ontario company, as information about continuing professional development. They are for licensed professionals. They are not legal advice, not professional advice, and not a substitute for your regulator's own published rule.
We work to keep every regulator requirement accurate and dated. The regulator's own published rule is always the authority. Check it. Tell us if we have it wrong. We may update or remove pages at any time.
Credits and acceptance
We do not promise that a course, hour, or certificate will be accepted by your regulator, employer, or insurer. Each body sets its own rules and decides what it accepts. We do not invent a credit count or an approval ID.
The courses
Courses are sold and delivered by LearnFormula through its marketplace, under its terms of use, which are governed by the laws of Ontario. Where anything on this site differs from those terms, those terms govern.
A free hour or other gift on this site is a complimentary grant of a named course. There is no credit card on this page. Submitting a gift form creates or finds a LearnFormula account for that email. Use of that account is under those marketplace terms.
When you submit an offer form we email what you asked for: an access link, a coupon, a quoted rule, a practice grade, or a survey acknowledgement. That message is part of delivering the request.
We also send emails from LearnFormula about courses and related offers. Submitting the form is how you agree to those emails. You can unsubscribe in one click. Stopping course-update emails does not cancel the access link or the course you claimed.
Deadline reminders are different: we send those only if you tick the box on that page.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse this site. Do not submit details that are not yours. Do not interfere with the service, scrape it, or use it to send unsolicited mail. We may refuse or reverse a gift if we reasonably believe the request is abusive or false.
No warranty
This site and the information on it are provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we do not warrant that pages are complete, current, or error-free, that access will be uninterrupted, or that a gift will meet a board requirement.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, LearnFormula is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for a regulator, employer, or insurer refusing a credit, hour, or certificate. For a complimentary gift, any liability we cannot exclude is limited to providing the named course again.
Some places do not allow these limits. If that applies to you, some of the limits above may not apply.
Changes
We may change these terms. The version on this page when you submit a form applies to that submission. Later changes do not rewrite what you already agreed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Course purchases and account use are also under the marketplace terms of use.
